About the Journal
Agriculture and Food Sciences Research is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal that aims to publish high-quality, original research in all areas related to agriculture and food sciences. The journal offers a platform for researchers, scientists, policymakers, and professionals to share new findings, innovative methods, and practical solutions to important global challenges—such as food security, environmental sustainability, and agricultural development.
We welcome submissions from universities, research institutes, government and non-government organizations, and both public and private sector professionals.

Paper Submission and Publishing Process
Here is a simple guide to how your paper will be handled after submission:
1. Submission Acknowledgement
As soon as you submit your manuscript online, you will receive an automatic email confirming that we received it. Within 1 to 3 working days, you will also get a formal confirmation from the editorial team. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam or junk folder, or contact the editorial assistant.
2. Initial Check
The editor or assistant will first check if your paper fits the journal’s scope. Then, we use CrossCheck (iThenticate) to check for plagiarism. Any paper with copied or self-copied content will not be accepted.
3. Peer Review Process
The journal uses a double-blind review system, which means:

Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.

Authors do not know who the reviewers are.
Each paper is reviewed by three experts:

Two external reviewers (independent subject experts)

One editor from the journal’s board
They assess the quality, originality, and clarity of your work.
4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ comments, the editor decides whether to:

Accept the paper

Request revisions

Reject the paper
If the reviewers have different opinions, the editor will carefully review all feedback and may send the paper for another round of review.
5. Notification of the Review Result
The corresponding author (and co-authors) will receive an email with the final decision and reviewer feedback.
6. Publication Fee
For the year 2025, there is no publication fee for accepted, well-prepared manuscripts. Publication is free of charge.
7. Publication and Access
After publication, authors and readers will receive a notification. All published articles are freely available on the journal’s website.
Open Access and Copyright Policy

All articles are published as open access, meaning anyone in the world can read and download them for free.

Authors keep the copyright to their articles.

The journal has the right of first publication, but authors can later share, republish, or archive their article anywhere.

Publication Frequency
The journal is published twice a year, with two issues released annually.
